Quality Management

Human genetic diagnostics is, fundamentally, a matter of trust. Users of our laboratory services can rely on all analytical procedures and processing steps being carried out under controlled and continuously monitored conditions, in line with the current state of science and technology and at the highest quality level.

Our human genetic diagnostic laboratories have been accredited since 2013 in accordance with the international standard DIN EN ISO 15189 (“Medical laboratories – Requirements for quality and competence”) by the Deutsche Akkreditierungsstelle GmbH (DAkkS), the national accreditation body of the Federal Republic of Germany.

This quality mark is based on a high level of expertise, extensive experience in human genetic diagnostics, well-defined and reliable workflows, active and dynamic information structures, and regular training and continuing education of our staff. This competence has been continuously confirmed for Human Genetics Göttingen by DAkkS.

Our current accreditation with a flexible scope also covers Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS)-based procedures.

A trustworthy collaboration for us also means that we systematically process and evaluate all feedback from users of our laboratory services.

We are pleased to receive positive feedback, take critical comments seriously, and use complaints as an opportunity to identify and eliminate potential weaknesses. All feedback from our users is answered.

Please contact our quality management staff directly. We will be very happy to assist you with any questions you may have.
